HONORARY MEMBERSHIP

This type of membership is awarded in only exceptional cases to recognize an individual for unusual service and contributions to Rotary and society. Persons who have distinguished themselves by meritorious service in the furtherance of Rotary ideals and those persons considered friends of Rotary for their permanent support of Rotary’s cause may be elected to honorary membership in more than one club. The term of such membership shall be as determined by the board of the club in which they hold membership.

Honorary members are exempt from the payment of admission fees and dues, do not have a vote andare not eligible to hold any office in the club. They do not hold classifications, but are welcome and encouraged to attend all meetings and enjoy all the other privileges of the club in which they hold such membership.
