Weekend in the Mountains

Egehan Solak, our club's inbound exchange student from Turkey, teaches other Rotary Youth Exchange students a traditional Turkish dance in Revelstoke.

 

Weekend in the Mountains - February brought together all inbound and outbound Rotary Youth Exchange students within District 5060 for a "Weekend in the Mountains" sponsored by the Revelstoke Rotary Club. This was the first opportunity for the Inbound students to meet the new arrivals from Australia, as well as the newly selected Outbound students. Activities included inner-tube snow tobogganing, swimming and a student International Night.

Sylvia Mott - Another Outbound student for next year's Rotary Youth Exchange. Sylvia lives in Summerland but is being sponsored by the Osoyoos Rotary Club to take part in the exchange. She will be staying in Germany.
