Update from Ann Kemp: Blossom Pageant Judges' Tea

The following photos were taken at the "Judges' Tea". This is the first judged speech that the Blossom Pageant candidates make and also in front of an audience. The speeches are about their sponsoring business or organization. A fun fashion show is also included, though it is not judged. Not only do the candidates have to present a speech, but also set up the room ready for the Tea at the Waterfront Resort and serve the tea, coffee and goodies to the audience. Later it's clean up time. We were impressed with the content of the speeches and thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon. This is also a time for meeting family members of Miss Rotary. I took video of Katie delivering her very well prepared and delivered speech. Katie is enjoying and proud to be representing Rotary.
