Rotary Senior Pioneer Tea - March 18, 2017

Thank you to everyone that came out for our Rotary Senior Pioneer Tea! We had over 60 pioneers join us at the Summerland Legion this afternoon to celebrate Canada's 150th and the past 150 years in Summerland.

Thank you to Dr. David Gregory, who presented at the tea. As well, thank you to the Summerland Museum who provided the historical photos that were on display on the tables at the tea.

Thank you to Alyson Lindsay and her group from SADI that did a tremendous job in helping with set up, serving and clean up. Thank you Antonio Hansen, Josiah Baran, Karter Wilms, Kyle Walker, Angus Hume, Sam Hume, Nikki Blair, Jordyn Birds, Ryan Burian, Tirel Yost and Elliott Birds.

Thank you to Miss Rotary, Katie Portman, past Rotary Exchange Student, Bailey Johnson, and to Sam Fortin for warmly greeting all of our guests.

Thank you to our mayor, Peter Waterman, MLA, Dan Ashton, and councillor, Janet Peake, for coming out to the event.
