Our club was fortunate to have Kim Wise, School Counsellor from Summerland Secondary School, speak at our meeting this morning about a two-day Wellness Retreat that was created for Grade 9 and 10 students at Summerland Secondary School. The annual "Unity Retreat" features workshops on self-awareness, team building, cooperation and anti-bullying. Grade 11 and 12 students from the school assist with the workshops. This will be the thirteenth year the retreat has been held.
