Fun Times at our Rotary Holiday Party

Thank you to everyone who came out last Tuesday, December 6th, for our annual Rotary Holiday Party that took place at the Summerland Waterfront Resort and Spa. It was a wonderful evening full of holiday friendship, fellowship and fun. Thank you to Lisa Jaager for organizing the event, to Tom and Ellen Matthews for hosting our group at the Summerland Waterfront Resort, to Ellen Matthews for being our Master of Ceremonies for the evening and to Roch Fortin for assisting Ellen with the running of our "Recycled, Reclaimed or Regifted" holiday gift exchange. It was a fun-filled night that won't be forgotten!

Also, a special thanks to our inbound (Josie Mehrnusch), soon-to-be outbound (Josiah Baran) and rebound (Bailey Johnson and Michaella Haidenger) Rotary Exchange Students for joining us for our Holiday Party with the plates of treats! Six Rotary Exchange students from our area stayed up until 1 am, baking in support of Shelterbox! Plates of their baking were sold for $10-15/plate with all proceeds going to Shelterbox. Between all the Rotary functions attended, the students' hard work and baking resulted in $555 for the cause. Way to go everyone!
