2016 Rotary District 5060 Conference - May 12-15th Yakima, WA

What a great weekend it was this past weekend in Yakima, Washington. There was 12 Rotarians and guests from our club that made it to the JUMP RIGHT IN! "Footprints, Fellowship & Fun" District 5060 Conference!
The number one and number two reasons why people join Rotary and stay in Rotary are for friendship and making a difference in their local community. This past weekend was a great opportunity to expand and deepen our network of friends. The keynote speakers and breakout sessions were focused on helping us to make a greater impact on our projects around the world.
I think everyone that attended would agree - from the Brews and Brats welcome event on Thursday, wine touring/hiking/biking/beer touring options on the Friday, home hosting on the Friday evening, the Banquet on Saturday and to all the amazing keynote speakers throughout the event - the conference was a wonderful time!
If you missed out on this event, please be sure to sign up for our next District 5060 Conference which will be taking place closer to home - April 28th-30th, 2017, in Kelowna. The Rotary Club of Kelowna has an excellent event planned for us so you won't want to miss their "Friendship and Fellowship" conference planned for next year!
Important to note - For about a week, you can get an amazing early-bird discount - only $190 CDN until the end of May (going up to $225 afterwards). No extensions! If you were in Yakima, I'm pretty sure you won't want to miss this. If you were not in Yakima, don't miss another!
